Marlino Bitanga is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Makeeta, a culture-led creative and production partner that builds real relationships between brands and Next-Gen Filipino culture. Known in the music world as DJ Marlino, he has spent over three decades navigating the space between corporate structures and the underground, from a cousin's garage in the Bay Area to boardrooms, festival stages, and conference halls across the US, Canada, and the UK.

He is the creator of Heavy Rotation, the first and largest platform dedicated exclusively to Filipino Hip Hop and R&B. For thirty-five years, he has operated on a single frequency. Consequently, this book is what that frequency sounds like when you write it down.
